WORK IN PROGRESS: Americana / Liberty |

Not yet published |
| We plan
a series of titles honoring our great nation. The first will be
released in 2007 as part of a special collection. An early
layout is shown below. |

Lady
Liberty
She has long stood as a beacon representing the United States and
its ideals. In 1986, Jewish poet Emma Lazarus wrote a tribute to
the great lady that was later put on a plaque at her base. It's
immortal words, "Give us your tire, your poor, your huddled masses,
yearning to breath free..." have provided inspiration to generations
of immigrants, but yet the two have never before been combined into
a poster.
The above layout shows the photograph that is being
used and the words to the poem. However, they need to be reset
in a more appropriate font. |
Future Titles
We have been slowing accumulating a list of titles that we
want to produce. High on that list is a photograph of the
original Star Spangled Banner now on display at the Smithsonian.
On it, we will add the words to our national anthem which it inspired.
Other titles will show the Jefferson Memorial and Lincoln Monument,
both accompanied by appropriate quotations. |
